One reason an AC isn't cooling could be a dirty condenser. If you find a dirty AC condenser, the air cooling process won't be optimal.
The way to fix an AC that isn't cooling if the condenser is dirty is to clean the condenser regularly. You can do this yourself without having to call an AC service.
To do this, use soap and water to remove dirt. You can also spray the condenser with water from a hose at a low flow to loosen any stuck-on dirt.
In addition, make sure the condenser is not located in a place where there are many ornamental plants and tree branches so that it does not easily get dirty or covered.

3. Refrigerant is empty or leaking
Refrigerant, also often called freon, is a gas needed in the cooling process.
Refrigerant contains chlorine, hydrogen, and bromine, which help the AC produce cool air. If your AC runs out of refrigerant or leaks, the air produced by the AC will not be cold.
Signs of refrigerant exhaustion include ice forming on the AC pipes, a leak in the AC, and a hissing sound caused by the leak.
Refrigerant that runs out or leaks can be harmful to the health of occupants. If inhaled, leaking refrigerant can cause respiratory problems.
If you suspect refrigerant is empty or leaking, immediately call an AC repairman to repair the leak and refill it.
4. Incorrectly setting the thermostat
To ensure cool air, you must set the AC temperature correctly. This should be adjusted to the room temperature. For example, if the room temperature is 24 degrees Celsius, the AC temperature should not be set above 24 degrees Celsius.
If the AC temperature is above room temperature, the room will not be cool.
One way to fix an AC that isn't cooling due to an incorrect thermostat setting is to set the AC temperature below room temperature.
For example, if the room temperature is 23 degrees Celsius, you can try setting the AC temperature to 20 degrees Celsius or lower. Another strategy you can try to fix the problem of an AC that isn't cooling is to select the "cool" mode on the AC remote.
