If gypsum wall installation is not carried out precisely and meticulously, the house may collapse. Therefore, special skills are required to ensure that gypsum walls stand perfectly.
3. Not Impact Resistant
Gypsum board can be damaged by very strong impacts. For example, if you use a hammer excessively, it can puncture or crack the gypsum board.
Additionally, be sure to use a frame made of strong material to reduce the risk of cracking or collapsing the gypsum board.
4. Limited Installation Space
Although the installation process tends to be easier, gypsum walls can only be installed in certain locations. Installing gypsum walls on bathroom walls is highly discouraged. High humidity levels will cause gypsum walls to rot and grow mold quickly.
If you still want to install gypsum walls, it's best to choose a waterproof material.
