Jellyfish stings can cause skin irritation, while sharp coral can injure your feet if you are not careful. 

Some species of jellyfish can even cause more serious allergic reactions, such as shortness of breath or dizziness. In addition, there are also poisonous fish such as stonefish that can cause extreme pain if stepped on. 

If you are stung by a jellyfish, immediately rinse the area with seawater (not fresh water) and avoid rubbing the affected area. 

To avoid injury from coral or other dangerous marine animals, wear footwear when walking in shallow water and always watch where you step when swimming or snorkeling.

Sudden Weather Changes

Although Bali is known for its sunny weather, sudden weather changes can be a challenge for tourists. 

Sudden strong winds can cause waves to become larger and dangerous for swimmers and surfers. 

In addition, sudden heavy rains can make the sand surface slippery and cause people to slip. Travelers who are unprepared for weather changes may experience discomfort or even accidents. 

Therefore, before going to the beach, always check the weather forecast through a weather app or ask the hotel staff and local residents. If the weather starts to deteriorate while you are at the beach, immediately seek shelter or postpone activities in the sea until conditions are safe again.
