Meanwhile, several negative impacts of tin mining that need to be considered are:

- Destroying forests.

- Destroying marine and soil ecosystems, such as seawater pollution and soil instability.

- Risk of loss of life, especially if tin mining is carried out illegally.

Therefore, to prevent environmental damage from tin mining, tin companies need to conduct continuous environmental research and analysis before undertaking mining activities.

Furthermore, after carrying out these economic activities, tin mining companies are also required to reclaim former mining areas as soon as possible.

This reclamation can be achieved by replanting trees (reforestation) or improving the soil properties of former mining areas so they can be used for agricultural purposes.
