Dharmasraya, Solok, South Solok, Lima Puluh Kota, Pasaman, and Tanah Datar.

Class C mining materials are distributed throughout all regencies and cities, consisting primarily of sand, stone, and gravel.

West Sumatra Province contributes approximately 3.58% of Indonesia's estimated gold reserves.

The areas of Padang Aro, Solok, especially South Solok, Sawulontho, and many other areas contain gold.

It is a general rule that gold is abundant on both sides of the Bukit Barisan Mountains, especially alluvial gold.

Several areas, such as Sulit Air, Sibarambang, Sungai Sumpahan, Lanawang, and Pinti Kayu Gadang, contain copper deposits with potential gold content. These areas are currently under exploration.
