The Culture and Tourism Office (Disbudpar) of Ogan Komering Ilir Regency (OKI) intervened to verify the authenticity of the objects suspected by local residents to be treasure.
Following this discovery, the local government has stepped in to confirm whether the objects are indeed antiques and historical relics.
If the discovered objects are proven to be genuine gold and are part of a historical relic, the government has the right to demand their return.
However, the government has stated that it will provide compensation to the party who found the objects.
