INDONESIA, RBTVDISWAY.ID – One of the signs of the Apocalypse is the emergence of Yajuj and Majuj. As explained in Surah Al-Kahf, verse 94, Yajuj and Majuj are the people who bring corruption to the earth. Allah SWT says,
قَالُوْا يٰذَا الْقَرْنَيْنِ اِنَّ يَأْجُوْجَ وَمَأْجُوْجَ مُفْسِدُوْنَ فِى الْاَرْضِ فَهَلْ نَجْعَلُ لَكَ خَرْجًا عَلٰٓى God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing
Meaning: They said, "O Zulkarnain! Indeed, Gog and Magog are (creatures who) do damage on the earth, so may we pay you a reward so that you build a barrier between us and them?"
Gog and Magog are human descendants of the Prophet Adam AS who are not much different from humans today. However, this people has an evil nature, greedy, seditious, cruel and cunning.

It was said by Rasulullah SAW, the Gog and Magog are among the ranks of the inhabitants of hell. Rasulullah SAW said,
"Allah SWT said to Prophet Adam, "Bring out the army of the inhabitants of hell." So Prophet Adam asked, "What is the army of the inhabitants of hell?" Allah SWT said, "They are from every thousand, nine hundred and ninety-nine."
Then the Companions asked, "Who is this one, O Messenger of Allah?" I replied, "Rejoice! Indeed, the inhabitants of Hell are one of you, and a thousand of Gog and Magog." (Narrated by Bukhari).
Their appearance indeed plays a role in creating chaos and destruction, according to a destiny predetermined by Allah SWT. This is characteristic of those who no longer even have time for worship.
They are described as a people who spend their time accumulating wealth, destroying natural resources, are not good at socializing, and are not skilled in knowledge.
"When they pass by a lake, they drink its water until it is gone. When they encounter a human, they kill him. He will not be satisfied with anything."
The commentator Imam Ahmad described the appearance of Gog and Magog as a sign of the Day of Judgment. They will descend from the mountains like a torrential flood.

From Muhammad ibn Bashar, from Ibn Harmalah, from his aunt, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) once preached about the characteristics of the Gog and Magog people. He said,
"You say you have no enemies. You will continue to fight your enemies until Gog and Magog emerge with broad faces, narrow eyes, and yellow-skinned figures, descending from every hill. "It was as if their faces were flat like the surface of a hammer," (Narrated by Imam Ahmad).
